Challenges can have different formats depending on their characteristics and how they fit into the subject:

• “Taste” challenges: Intensive activities such as alternative evaluations, market studies or brainstorming sessions, which can be developed in a hackathon format or in a couple of sessions. They are an excellent first approach to starting projects or exploring new ideas in an agile way.
• “Focus” challenges: These challenges are aligned with a specific part of the curriculum, allowing students to apply specific knowledge in a practical way for approximately one month. The approximate duration is one month. They include an initial session to present the challenge, independent work by the students, and a final session for the presentation of the results and feedback.
• Quarterly Challenges: Challenges that respond to more complex projects (up to 60 hours of dedication) that serve as the central axis of the subject. They are ideal for proposals that require research, development and detailed results. However, the subjects that allow this option are limited.

For larger challenges, we recommend other ways of collaboration, such as internships in companies or agreements for Final Degree Projects (TFG). These options provide an appropriate environment to delve into more elaborate solutions.
